The real first post

Hi there neocitizens, and a very very special Hi to you, (does it work? Do you read your name? I hope so, love u nonetheless). Welcome to my website! You probably already know what all of this is about. In case you don't or you want a recap, this is a command-line based site: you can browse through the pages typing out commands in the terminal on the left. I'm thinking about adding other exciting stuff apart from the blog you're reading, like games, text based adventures ...

About fruff0

My real name is Francesco, I'm italian, in my twenties, studying medicine in Uni. I love guitar, I really enjoy computers and tech in general, I'm obsessioned with LOTR and fantasy. I like to code stuff to escape from boredom. I built this whole thing out of pure boredom, during a very long pause between study sessions. Right now I don't have much to do (or at least, I have a lot of time to do a lot of stuff that I should definetely do now before begging for more time later), so I've decided to pour some hours in this project. There're a few things you should know about it:

  1. Why Border? Because I never finish the projects I start. Like, never. I've also never got this far with anything as with this website. Back when I registered my account, I meant to do something completely different from what you're seeing now. That thing didn't satisfy me, so I've abandoned it. Technically, I've been abandoning this project too: I have two other retro-style blogs in my local drive which I had created to substitute this one, but I realized that the terminal-thing was a good idea and today I went back to it.
  2. Why Fruff0? It's a mashup of my name and surname.
  3. Why a command-line based website? Because command: disclaimer and because why not.
  4. Why a blog? Because I think it might be a cool thing to do, sharing some of my thoughts and dreams with you :). Also, I like the idea behind social networks, which is to share your life and experiences with others, but I kinda feel I can't do it there freely without being scrutinized by people. I like neocities because it feels safe in a way. And also because the fact that I get to build a whole website from scratch with html/js/css and stuff and host it for free blows my mind.

Anyway, I think this is enough for my first post. I don't know when in the future you'll hear from me again, I'll probably be absorbed by life very soon. But be assured, this is the beginning of something, not the end :).
